Olympus has just officially announced the available of their newest high-end digital compact camera. The camera “XZ-1” is Olympus’ first and flashgip device in their camera series. The XZ-1 is equipped with an Olympus iZUIKO lens (iZUIKO f1.8-2.5 6.0-24mm) which is Olympus’ first experience in using a built-in zuiko compact lens. The camera also has supported with an extra large, super-sensitive CCD sensor including an extremely fast TruePic V image processor that promises to give a great image result specially in low-light conditions and also shoot both high-quality images and HD videos with ease.

Olympus XZ-1 features 10MP CCD sensor, a 3-inch OLED monitor, 6 art filters for spicing up your photographs with effects, an advanced manual controls, Live Guide for helping you set up shots and An ultra-compact body to easy carry. Olympus is planning to deliver the XZ-1 camera to electronic retailers this January with price tag at $ 499.99.
