
Sony has just announced a new camcorder for movie maker.This camcorder is offering a slow/undercranking and quick/overcranking recording features complete with “S-LOG” and “Hyper Gamma” mode. Sony named the camcorder as the PMW-F3, known as a Super 35mm digital camcorder that carry a 35mm CMOS imager with high sensitivity and low noise levels between ISO 800, F11; and S/N ratio of 63dB in 1920×1080/59.94i mode and also a wide dynamic range. It sports with a PL mount that match to both PL and zoom lens and match with a variety of cine lenses like the Cooke, Arri, Fujinon and Zeiss.
The PMW-F3 also supported by Sony’s XDCAM EX workflow with MPEG-2 Long GOP 4:2:0 8bit, 35 Mbps codec and SxS ExpressCard-based recording media format. This super digital camcorder capable to recording video or making a movie into several format options: 1920×1080, 1440×1080, and 1280×720 at 23.98/25/29.97p, 50/59.94i and also into DVCAM mode with 25/29.97PsF and 50/59.94i format.

Sony has scheduled the PMW-F3’s date release for January 2011 but they didn’t explain more detail about its price target. When this super 35mm digital camcorder deliver to worldwide market, it will be old along with PL lens kit (PMW-F3K) and also offered in a package with or without the lens.
