Ricoh is proudly presents the CX5 new compact superzoom with Hybrid AF system. This camera comes with a 10MP back-illuminated CMOS sensor, a 10.7x optical zoom lens, 28-300mm equiv, 920k dot of 3-inch LCD and 720p HD video recording capability just like the CX4. With the AF system, Ricoh will make the CX5 camera able to take a clear picture with 0.2sec of focus times length by combining a distance sensor with more conventional contrast detection method. And it will be your next camera which will give Super-Resolution, context-sensitive image processing and three additional scene modes.

The CX5 is categorized into a point-and-shoot camera line-up. And it’s supported by an ISO Speed up to ISO3200, 40MB of internal memory including SDHC and Eye-Fi memory cards. Ricoh not yet explain more complete about the CX5’s price and date release target. But it’s positively available in three variant body casing colors.
