
Panasonic just announced the Lumix DMC-FT1 the tough camera that aimed for active outdoor photography. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT1 use the standard technology of TOUGHBOOK computer series. It offer shockproof, waterproof and dustproof system, just like what we already know use in Olympus Tough. It designed with rubber padding, glass and carbon resin for protect it when using underwater up to 10-feet (3m) of depth and 5-feet of height for the shockproof technology. It provide 12.1-megapixel CMOS sensor along with 4.6x optical zoom 28mm wide angle lens and IA (Intelligent Auto).

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT1 equipped with 2.7-inch LCD display with 230,000-dot with wide viewing angle and able to improve visibility while recording video. It able to record video with AVCD lite recording format with selected 3 levels motion image quality, like SH (17 Mbps), H (13 Mbps) and L (9 Mbps). It has integrated LED light which automatically turns while recording video in the dark places. It compatible with VIERA TV, so you can view your images on the TV. It boast PHOTOfunSTUDIO HD software that allow you to upload video to YouTube directly. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT1 will be available on March with some optional colors you can choose.
