
On PMA 2010, Samsung has sent out their two new cameras collection the new TL-series special for photographers need. The first model is Samsung TL-500, a 10MP camera with 1/1.7-inch CCD sensor just like the canon Powershot S90. The TL-500 carry a 3x optical zoom with 4-72mm equivalen and capable to shoot video in high speed mode with low light and in slow-motion mode could reach 1,000FPS shoot. The second model is Samsung TL-350 which has a 10MP CMOS sensor with 5x optical zoom and 24-120mm equivalent lens and capable to shoot video into 1080p at 30fps or 720p resolution at 60fps. Both Samsung TL500 and TL350 has equipped with a 3-inch swiveling AMOLED display complete with optical image stabilization,full manual control and high-end features. Special for the TL500, Samsung has compatible the camera with a very wide f1.8 aperture which is equals with SLR picture result. Based on the information Samsung will offered the TL500 at cost $450 while the TL350 at $350 when available in store around this Spring season.

* Image stabilization (not sure if it’s lens or sensor shift)
* 3-inch AMOLED display that flips to the side and rotates (no word no resolution); AMOLED displays offer better contrast and color, deeper blacks, and a wider viewing angle than traditional LCDs
* Full manual controls, with support for the RAW image format
* Smart Auto mode selects a scene mode for you, for both stills and movies
* Hot shoe for external flash
* Front wheel control for adjusting manual settings
* Records movies at 640 x 480 (30 fps) using the H.264 codec


Samsung TL350 Features:
* 10.2 Megapixel (possibly back-illuminated) CMOS sensor
* F2.8-5.8, 5X optical zoom Schneider-Kreuznach lens, equivalent to 24 -120 mm
* Image stabilization (not sure what kind)
* 3-inch AMOLED display with 614,000 pixels
* Full manual controls, with support for the RAW format
* Smart Auto mode picks a scene mode for both stills and movies
* Continuous shooting as fast as 10 fps at full resolution
* “Fuel gauges” on top of camera display shots remaining and battery life
* Face/smile/blink detection, with auto redeye reduction
* Records movies at 1920 x 1080 (that’s 1080p) at 30 fps with sound
o Capable of recording at even faster frame rates — up to 1000 fps — when you lower the resolution (a lot)
o Can take a full resolution still while recording a movie
